Environment whose temperature is higher than the standard holding.
For example, two phonic wheels too close to each other for two sensors to fit.
Another example: on alternators or starter-alternators in freewheel + main mode or crankshaft pulley and damper vision.
Recommendations:
- Consider mounts that clamp the ends and dampen any vibrations
- Above 1 meter in length, over-sheathing is required (Ref. SURG)
- The SPIRAL option allows you to orientate the probe without constraint
These probes have special protections for increased temperature exposure compared to standard models.
