Type of connectors
To connect OPTEL THEVON sensors on NI9411 board 2 solutions are suitable
Solution n°1: Use NI connection board.
152 sensor’s wires are connected on terminal block. |
Solution n°2 :
Use OPTEL THEVON 152 sensors wired with Sub-D 15 pin connector wired on demand. The sensor is directly connected to the NI-9411 board. |

Solution n°2
Power Supply and Signal Connection
5Vcc sensors: 152 G7 5V GPK TTL
Solution n°1:
Use internal regulator of the NI-9411 board with an USB power supply.
The 5V sensors output is directly connected to Dia or Dib pin depending on the type of measurement (see « Note on inputs »).
USB cable suitable to supply power to the NI-9411 board. The wire is connected to the terminal block provided for the sensor supply.
Solution n°2:
Use internal regulator of the NI-9411 board with an external power supply.
The 5V sensors output is directly connected to Dia or Dib pin depending on the type of measurement (see « Note on inputs » p10).
Solution n°3:
Use an external fixed power supply.
The 5V sensors output is directly connected to Dia or Dib pin depending on the type of measurement (see « Note on inputs » p10).
12 - 24 Vcc sensors: 152G7 GPK TTL 12-24Vcc1
Use an external power supply
The 12-24V sensor’s output is directly connected to Dia or Dib pin depending on the type of measurement (see « Note on inputs »).
1 Also compatible with the following references: 152 G6 GP K TTL
152 G8 GP K TTL
152 M
Sensors equipped with differential outputs: 152 G7 GP K RS485
The differential outputs of the sensor are connected to the inputs Dia and Dib according to the diagram below.
The wiring must be adapted according to the type of power supply (see chapter Connection)
